About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our imaging services, you will be responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential homes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience in radiologic technology and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our medical teams to deliver high-quality imaging results, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable x-rays and EKG exams, in various settings
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patients' bedside or other designated exam settings
  • Determine exposure factors based on height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required
  • Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
  • Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner according to company protocols
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R) and/or state x-ray license (if applicable)
  • Have a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends
