About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Department of Exceptional Students, including coordinating administrative services, maintaining records, and preparing correspondence and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Department of Exceptional Students and assists supervisors and administrators with coordinating administrative services;
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records, files, and databases;
  • Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings, agendas, and other related documents;
  • Ensures the efficient operation of the office by maintaining workflow, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines;
  • Develops and implements effective solutions to complex problems, using analytical and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred;
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience working in an office setting performing administrative duties;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.

Salary and Benefits:

This position has an estimated annual salary of $52,000 - $62,000, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
