Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Telehealth Clinical Technician (TCT) LPN/LVN to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a TCT LPN/LVN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our veterans through our telehealth programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and technical support to patients through our telehealth programs, including Tele Eye screening, Tele Dermatology, and Tele Spirometry.
  • Facilitate real-time Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) encounters, including patient education activities, primary care (PACT) and specialty care remote visits.
  • Perform administrative duties, including conducting needs assessments for proposed telehealth clinics, developing telehealth service agreements, and submitting required documentation.
  • Collaborate with staff from the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) for the installation of new telehealth equipment.
  • Participate in TH meetings, CBOC huddles, and make presentations related to telehealth when required.
Requirements
  • Active, full, current and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico), of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • GS-3: None beyond the basic requirements.
  • GS-4: Six months of qualifying experience as an LPN/LVN OR Graduation from an approved school and one year of experience that involved nursing care work in a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical, nursing, or patient care facility.
  • GS-5: Completion of at least one year of qualifying experience at the GS-4 level or equivalent.
  • GS-6: Completion of at least one year of qualifying experience at the GS-5 level or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Virtual Care/telehealth and outpatient clinic experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Must be tech savvy.
Work Schedule

07:30am-4:00pm, hours may vary depending on deployment and/or assigned facility needs.

Travel

Up to 25% may be required.
