Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Account Manager. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring the accuracy of policy information.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter new client accounts into our agency management system, including prospects.
- Verify policy accuracy by comparing it to the proposal and agency management system, and handle corrections according to agency guidelines.
- Correspond with insured or agents to obtain information or inform them of account status or changes.
- Receive, review, and document all client and underwriter correspondence, including change requests and endorsement processing.
- Manage the cancellation process and review follow-up lists on a weekly basis to take appropriate action.
- Process and submit business or government forms, such as applications for coverage to insurance carriers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.
- Active Life & Health insurance license or obtain within 90 days.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
