Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team at Menards. As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, including conveyors, robotics, and automatic guided vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Install new equipment and perform welding and metal fabrication of parts as needed.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to buildings and grounds for the Distribution Center.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs-70lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
