About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Tire Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations, and TPMS procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review repair order requests and conduct visual inspections of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed
  • Perform tire replacement or minor maintenance services
  • Install valve stems and tire-pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) as required
  • Mount tires on wheel assemblies and inflate tires as required
  • Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
  • Perform short road tests to ensure proper installation
  • Review services with customers
  • Comply with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA, and EPA regulations

Requirements

  • High school graduate, comparable vocational training, or 6 months of tire technician experience
  • Must have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures, including systems software pertaining to automotive servicing
  • Preferred experience: familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications, knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-Data, and certifications such as SEMA and TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200 Level 300 or 400
