About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as an Insurance Consultant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and assessing their insurance needs to provide tailored recommendations with a sales focus.
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify and sell suitable insurance solutions that meet clients' needs.
- Develop and present customized insurance strategies, including life, disability, and long-term care insurance, to meet sales targets and exceed client expectations.
- Clearly explain policy options, highlighting benefits and costs, to guide clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with underwriters, financial advisors, and legal professionals to support comprehensive financial planning and drive sales growth.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products to maintain a competitive edge and boost sales.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong sales experience, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for building client relationships and effectively promoting insurance products.
- Ability to work well with colleagues and contribute to a team in providing comprehensive client solutions.
- New York Life sponsors licensing, so no license is needed initially. You will need to obtain required licenses, such as state-specific life insurance licenses, after starting. Confirm details with New York Life during onboarding.
