Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients correctly and use proper immobilization techniques to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Follow established clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure optimal scan quality and patient safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists to tailor protocols and ensure accurate exam interpretation
  • Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3-year general radiology ARRT registry
  • IEMA license
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • IV certification within 3 months of hire
  • Ability to work overtime and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
