Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process new resident intake forms, exit logs, daily occupancy reports, and other documentation in compliance with regulations set by Midway Living, Inc., DHS, and OTDA.
- Document all incidents meticulously in the incident log.
- Verify the identification of all visitors and maintain accurate records in the logbook.
- Keep comprehensive logs including school attendance, emergency contacts, and shift summaries.
- Conduct crib audits to ensure compliance with "Safe Sleeping" standards and report findings accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office, equipment, and restrooms.
- Compile and submit detailed shift summary reports.
- Work alongside security personnel to foster a safe environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
- Manage incidents involving clients and staff as necessary.
- Conduct Quality Assurance checks and ensure adherence to regulatory standards set by Midway Living Inc., DHS, and OTDA.
- Respond to emergencies with professionalism and appropriate action.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of Nightly Signature Rosters.
- Review incident reports for precision, clarity, and verification of actions taken.
- Ensure all equipment on-site is properly maintained and functional.
- Prepare and clean units for new occupants, including organizing client belongings as needed.
- Distribute important notices and correspondence to residents.
- Follow up on the delivery of essential communications to residents.
- Conduct inspections of units to guarantee a clean and healthy living environment for clients.
- Ensure that all pertinent information and documentation are communicated to the incoming shift.
- Report any incidents to management promptly.
- Assist in efforts to transition families into permanent housing solutions.
Qualifications:
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with facility staff and clients
- Ability to perform under pressure and in stressful situations
