Your Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will support the development of young learners by fostering their independence and self-assurance alongside our Lead Educators. This position serves as an excellent starting point for those interested in Montessori pedagogy, with many Assistants progressing to Lead Educator roles after completing our accredited training program.

This role is a full-time commitment, requiring a 40-hour work week, and offers a competitive hourly wage. Flexibility to work within the hours of 7am to 6pm is essential. Opportunities for part-time and substitute roles are also available.

We seek candidates who:

  • Fulfill Article 47 educational requirements
  • Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Ideally hold a Montessori Diploma/Certificate for the 0-3 age range
  • Have a solid understanding of child development principles
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Are CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
