Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in collaboration with a reputable manufacturer in the hand tools sector, is looking for dedicated Warehouse Assembly Specialists to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality service while managing inquiries regarding our product offerings.

Compensation and Shifts:

  • Hourly Rate: $18

Available Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Minimal overtime or weekend work may be required.

The Warehouse Assembly Specialist is tasked with achieving daily objectives related to safety, quality, precision, and productivity. Responsibilities include utilizing hand tools for assembling retail displays and packaging various hand tools. Tasks may vary daily, from assembling wheelbarrows to working on gardening tools such as rakes and pruners. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Safely lift and move heavy items, up to 50 lbs, using manual methods or material handling equipment.
  2. Conduct cycle counts as instructed.
  3. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of work areas, machinery, and tools.
  4. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  5. Participate in required training sessions.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in warehouse operations, production, or light assembly.
  2. Forklift operation experience is preferred, with the willingness to train.
  3. Proficient in English, with the ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and operational manuals.
Working Environment:
  1. Warehouse setting, typically not climate-controlled.
  2. Training may be conducted on-site throughout the year.
  3. Physical demands include lifting heavy items manually or with equipment, requiring the ability to lift 30-50 pounds safely.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and navigate the warehouse for 8 or more hours daily on concrete surfaces.
  2. Effective communication in a warehouse environment.
  3. Utilize hands for typing, writing, and operating our computer systems.
  4. Perform bending, lifting, and stooping tasks.
