About Us:

Lantech is recognized globally as the leader in stretch wrapping technology. We pioneered the first rotary stretch wrapping machine and have consistently innovated our products with new features and performance enhancements. Our robust and efficient case and tray handling equipment is utilized worldwide, supported by technical assistance in various languages.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team in the mechanical and electrical assembly of intricate machinery, including Complex S and Q Automatics, Lanringers, and Ring Straddles. Responsibilities include final assembly, runout, and troubleshooting of stretch-wrap components using a variety of hand and power tools. Tasks will also involve hardware and software integration, as well as understanding PLC and ladder logic. You will receive cross-training on the line to support both new and existing options in sub-assembly. Occasionally, you may need to travel for customer-required start-ups and field support. Be prepared to lift loads up to 50 lbs and climb ladders. Overtime may be required to complete projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

We seek candidates who:

  • Can read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and run out various Lantech equipment.
  • If electrical experience was obtained through Lantech, must have completed the Lantech Electrical Advancement Program (LEAP) Level 2 or the Electrical Apprenticeship program.
  • Have passed the Automatic Troubleshooting Assessment.
  • Can read and follow instructions in English (standardized work).
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Practice safe work habits individually and with colleagues.
  • Adhere to guidelines regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Possess good communication skills and are detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Understand safety equipment and machine safety protocols.
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can stand for 9-10 hours daily.
  • Can pass a pre-employment physical demand screen (including a work simulation; lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Can pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
