Job Title: IT Systems Manager

Unreal Gigs is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Manager to lead our IT infrastructure team and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's systems and networks.

Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for technology to manage our IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Design and Architecture:
    • Design and architect our organization's IT systems and networks, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues and performance bottlenecks.
    • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect our organization's data and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Project Management:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
    • Define project requirements, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers, including cloud service providers, hardware vendors, and software vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT services.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
    • Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems management, with a proven track record of leading IT infrastructure projects and teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in system administration, networking, security, and cloud computing technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise IT systems, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Cisco networking, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members and stakeholders.
