About This Role

The Trauma Director will oversee all aspects of trauma patient care from injury through discharge and take a lead role in critical care as co-director of critical care.

This position requires high quality and effective care following evidence-based trauma guidelines and exceptional service excellence to our trauma patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish a comprehensive plan/program of care for vulnerable populations including geriatric patients.
  2. Coordinate care with subspecialists and manage all aspects of trauma care.
  3. Participate in Performance Improvement/Patient Safety committee for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. A board-certified general surgeon or eligible certification required.
  2. Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required.
  3. Maintain 36 hours of trauma-related CME during the verification cycle.
  4. Authority to manage all aspects of trauma care.

Salary Range: $425,107 - $565,494
