Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team at Select Water Solutions. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Water Treatment Operations: Safely and satisfactorily perform water treatment operations, including laying and picking up poly line, running transfer pumps, and essential equipment for water treatment operations.
  • Chemical Dosing: Chemical dosing of produced water based on water quality, rates, and customer demands.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Loading and unloading pipe, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for safe transport, observing machine operations, and gauges, and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
  • Spill Response: Assist in containment and spill clean ups.
  • Communication: Communicate with other workers, using signals, radios, and telephones, and communicate with other companies, including customers.
  • Training and Development: Attend and successfully complete training as directed for DOT, OSHA and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of water treatment experience and/or equivalent training.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail oriented due to the necessity of safety.
  • Communication Skills: Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Teamwork: Able to thrive in a team environment.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
  • Visual Requirements: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
