Hematology-Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hematology-Oncology Specialist to become part of a reputable multi-specialty practice that operates multiple cancer treatment facilities. This position offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including advanced laboratory capabilities and a complete radiology department equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technologies.

Key Features:

  • Leadership role with a flexible work schedule, including the possibility of a 4-day work week.
  • Supportive team environment with dedicated medical assistants and certified chemotherapy infusion nurses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a variety of oncological conditions, including solid tumors and both benign and malignant hematological disorders. Responsibilities include:

  • Outpatient care: administering chemotherapy, conducting bone marrow biopsies, performing lumbar punctures, and coordinating with radiation oncology and surgical services as necessary.
  • Inpatient care: addressing oncology emergencies, managing treatment-related complications, and delivering chemotherapy infusions.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Possession of a New Mexico medical license or eligibility for licensure.
