Job Title: Quality Program Manager - Registered Nurse - Trauma/Burn Program

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Quality Program Manager for the Trauma and Burn Program. About the Role:

The Quality Program Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies, data analysis, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and benchmarks
  • Lead the coordination and facilitation of performance improvement data collection, analysis, and trending
  • Develop and implement education and outreach activities to promote quality improvement and patient safety
  • Collaborate with staff educators to develop and support clinical nursing practice and innovation in the care of trauma and burn patients
  • Assist in the development of competency standards specific to the population
  • Work closely with the Nursing Director to promote quality outcomes through the identification of clinical topics and patient care issues in need of scientific inquiry
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in emergency room and ICU nursing required
  • Database management and analysis experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and patient safety quality measurement, reporting, and improvement
  • Previous leadership or project management experience, including statistical concepts and applications preferred
  • Experience working in a large and complex healthcare organization
