Senior CT Technologist Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CT Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Senior CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT exams in both inpatient and outpatient environments, working safely in an acute care setting, and interacting with anesthesia and other patient care departments.

**Responsibilities**

- Perform CT exams in both inpatient and outpatient environments
- Work safely in an acute care setting
- Interact with anesthesia and other patient care departments
- Participate in the training of students and new hires
- Demonstrate competency in performing injection procedures necessary for CT

**Requirements**

- ARRT Licensure
- CRT Licensure
- ARRT approved CT Certification
- Venipuncture Certification
- BLS (CPR) Certification
- Three (3) years minimum experience in practicing modality in acute care setting
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school

**Teaching and Leadership**

- Lead/Coordinator role
- Participation in an annual performance improvement project or CT Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings
- Demonstrate competency and ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures

**Skills and Abilities**

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
