Patient Services Representative, Gastroenterology, FT, Days

As a Patient Services Representative in our Gastroenterology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients, verify insurance information, and obtain necessary signatures.
- Process payments, manage cash drawers, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist patients with questions and concerns regarding their accounts and insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate billing and coding.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; multi-specialty group practice experience a plus.
This is a full-time, day shift position in a fast-paced medical office environment. You will be required to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
