About the Role

As a Youth Development Coordinator at Metro YMCA of the Oranges, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of our campers. This dynamic position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering exceptional youth development programs.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of campers, supporting activity planning and implementation, and maintaining a high level of customer service. You will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless program delivery and achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage with children in group settings, ensuring their physical and emotional safety.
  • Assist in planning and implementing activity programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with campers, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
