This critical role requires collaboration with the Emergency Department Director and the Director of Acute Care to maintain continuity of care in these departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Processes: Create and maintain processes that facilitate consistent workflow, utilizing industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Department Directors: Work closely with the Emergency Department Director and the Director of Acute Care to ensure ongoing continuity of care.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate leadership skills and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Manage Resources: Effectively manage resources to ensure the efficient operation of the hospital.
- Education: BSN degree preferred or demonstrated progress toward obtaining the degree.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of hospital acute care experience required; critical care experience preferred.
- Certifications: Current RN license and registration in Washington State, current AHA BLS certification, and must obtain ACLS and PALS certification within three (3) months of hire.
- Language Skills: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred; ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
