Position Summary:
The role of the Service Writer entails accurately gathering and inputting data into the system, managing appointment schedules, delivering customer support, and aiding in the processing of daily work orders. This position demands exceptional customer service through various communication methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate customer intake and generate repair orders
- Assist in securing approvals and scheduling service appointments
- Provide updates on repair status and promote service offerings
- Stay informed about service-related updates and resources
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns
- Communicate effectively with both team members and clients
- Participate in mandatory training sessions
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrate a proactive approach, exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities, and have excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in English, knowledge of heavy truck repairs, and strong organizational skills are essential for this position.
Work Environment:
This role may require physical activities such as lifting items up to 50 pounds, in addition to office-related tasks like paperwork and computer operations. The position also involves interaction with various stakeholders, exposure to noise and materials, and adherence to uniform requirements.
