Adventist HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Home Visitor to join our team. As a Bilingual Home Visitor, you will play a vital role in supporting low-income families and pregnant women with children from birth to five years old.

The Lourie Center Head Start (LCHS) program is a federally funded, community-based program that serves children with disabilities, children in foster care, and families that are homeless. As a Bilingual Home Visitor, you will work closely with families to provide guidance on home safety, nutrition, effective discipline, and constructive play activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with selecting, developing, and preparing instructional materials for parents
  • Conduct parent interviews and family needs assessments
  • Conduct developmental screenings and assessments
  • Provide program parents with guidance on home safety, nutrition, effective discipline, and constructive play activities
  • Assist with coordinating doctor, dental visits, and other community needs identified by families
  • Maintain individual records on children, including screenings, assessments, referrals, progress reports, and documentation of home visitation activities
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA) required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood, social work, or related discipline preferred
  • 1+ years' experience working with young children and families in the home preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Driver's license with reliable transportation required
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
