Position Title: Coordinator of Youth Relationship Education Program

Work Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

Status: Nonexempt

Reports To: Director of Educational Initiatives

Position Summary: The Coordinator will oversee the implementation and evaluation of the Youth Relationship Education curriculum, specifically focusing on the Coaching Boys Into Men initiative. This role involves fostering a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) to encourage healthy interpersonal relationships among youth.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation and Evaluation of Curriculum


• Identify and engage youth athletic departments for the deployment of the Coaching Boys Into Men curriculum, which includes training coaches, gathering necessary documentation, conducting seasonal evaluations, and organizing celebratory events for participating teams.


• Conduct pre- and post-season evaluations for both the Coaching Boys Into Men and Coaching Girls Beyond the Game programs.


• Create and disseminate educational outreach campaigns related to CBIM and CGBG through various media channels.

Coordinated Community Response (CCR)


• Reestablish the CBIM Advisory Board CCR Team, a coalition of diverse stakeholders committed to primary prevention strategies addressing community-level issues.

  • Regularly convene to assess CBIM/CGBG initiatives and ensure the CCR Team effectively identifies and mitigates barriers while leveraging support opportunities.


• Participate in DELTA Team Meetings with other grant recipients to share updates and collaboratively address challenges.


• Engage in State Level CCR meetings to contribute to the development and refinement of the State Action Plan.

Data Management


• Ensure compliance with data collection and reporting requirements, submitting timely updates to relevant stakeholders.


• Provide progress reports during quarterly meetings to the CCR and state implementation teams.


• Summarize evaluation findings, including insights and recommendations, on an annual basis and at the conclusion of the project.


• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults.


• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


• Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.


• Ability to address issues related to domestic violence with sensitivity and professionalism.


• Proven track record of building trusting relationships with families and youth.


• Excellent communication skills suitable for various audiences.


• Commitment to the mission of the Domestic Violence Center and personal professional development.


• Comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by abuse survivors and the ability to work with diverse communities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of preparing reports and proposals.


• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, volunteers, and community partners.


• Willingness to accept supervision and pursue personal growth.

Additional Requirements:


• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance, as travel to meetings and training sessions is required.


• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to fulfill program requirements.


• Compliance with agency policies and procedures, including background checks as mandated.


• Physical ability to lift and move supplies as necessary, with the capacity to perform tasks requiring visual and auditory acuity.

Work Environment:

The primary work setting is an office environment, with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
