About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide centralized technical support in the areas of alarm panel programming, diagnostic and service support, customer account support, and support to contract field technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for alarm panel programming, diagnostic and service support, and customer account support
  • Support contract field technicians with technical issues and concerns
  • Run reports from databases, program alarm panels, and operate alarm monitoring software
  • Create reports, documents, and correspondence using Microsoft Office
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of favorable work experience in the alarm monitoring, installation, and/or service industry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
  • Valid CPR Certification or willingness to obtain one immediately
Clearance and Security Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees
  • Standing for prolonged and extended periods of time
  • Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time
