Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electroencephalographic Technician Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Electro-Neuro Diagnostics department, you will perform high-quality EEG examinations and maintain exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality EEGs, including awake and asleep studies, video EEGs, cerebral silence, photic stimulation, portable EEGs, and other procedures as required.
  • Calibrate and evaluate EEG instruments to ensure top-quality recordings, emphasizing sensitivity, time axis, and mechanical/electrical baselines.
  • Conduct EEGs according to the 10-20 system outlined by ACNS and Medical Director guidelines, adhering to departmental policies and procedures for patients of all ages.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of EEG interpretation and communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient information.
  • Maintain a high skill level of knowledge of EEG through ongoing education and sharing information with staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; formal Neurodiagnostics program completion preferred.
  • No previous experience required; neurodiagnostics experience is desirable.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
