Job Summary

We are seeking an Electroencephalographic Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. This role will involve performing high-quality EEGs, facilitating study completion and reporting, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality EEGs, including awake and asleep studies, video EEGs, cerebral silence, photic stimulation, portable EEGs, and other procedures performed within the department.
  • Perform calibrations and evaluations, adjusting the EEG instrument to obtain top-quality recordings.
  • Follow the 10-20 system outlined by ACNS and Medical Director guidelines for patient EEGs.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of EEG interpretation and communicate effectively with physicians and team members.
  • Maintain a high skill level of knowledge through ongoing education and share information with staff members.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; formal Neurodiagnostics program preferred.
  • No previous experience required; neurodiagnostics experience preferred.
  • BLS certification.
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
