Key Responsibilities
We are in search of highly motivated, technically skilled, and mechanically adept individuals to join our expanding operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the validation testing of our generators before they are dispatched to customers. You will collaborate within our newly established Pilot Manufacturing facility, working alongside our talented mechanics and engineers.
- Collaborate with the Build and Test Team to evaluate and validate the next generation of high-efficiency generators, preparing units for customer delivery.
- Conduct product qualification tests on generators, meticulously logging data and identifying any failures.
- Troubleshoot issues, escalate concerns, and engage key stakeholders for support.
- Perform repairs and modifications to address issues identified during testing, providing feedback on quality concerns to production.
- Work with engineers to rectify, repair, and redesign components and assemblies.
- Carry out mechanical inspections of test units, documenting condition information for engineering review.
- Engage with colleagues to identify opportunities for enhancing safety and productivity.

Qualifications
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly and/or repair. Experience in automotive or heavy equipment assembly is advantageous.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, and safety-conscious.
- Experience with precision measuring tools, including micrometers and bore gauges.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and adhere to required safety protocols.
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with software applications is beneficial.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting experience is an asset.
The Bay Area hourly wage for this position is competitive, complemented by pre-IPO stock options and benefits. This role requires on-site presence.
