Job Description

Partners Personnel is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to support our Quality Assurance Department. This role involves performing inspections in the Receiving Inspection Department, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and assisting in cross-functional training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, examine, and measure raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and documentation.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of complex components and/or finished medical device products using various tools and equipment.
  • Understand engineering drawings and inspection requirements of components and parts, with the capability of utilizing small hand-tools, test fixtures, and training other inspectors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for receiving inspection activities.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Engineer, purchasing department, and production with day-to-day receiving inspection activities.
  • Develop, lead, and participate in Quality Department continuous improvement projects.
  • Work as a team player with other internal customers, such as production and planning.
  • Perform all duties and assignments in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with all quality system, GMP, and company policies.
  • Participate in developing and conducting training for the QC department.

Requirements:

  • Quality Inspector Certificate a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of component testing/receiving inspection, product testing, in-process inspection, and record compilation
  • Good working knowledge of inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, pin-gauges, optical comparator, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Must be organized and able to train other inspectors
