The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized 20-bed facility that caters to a diverse range of patient needs and demographics. Our patient base encompasses various service lines, including trauma (levels I and II), obstetric trauma, neurology (as a certified Stroke Center with three neurosurgeons), cardiothoracic care (featuring an open-heart program and interventional cardiology), as well as critically ill medical and surgical patients. The unit operates with a nurse-led decision-making model, supported by a dedicated team of intensivists and trauma surgeons who value the insights and contributions of nursing staff. Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
  • Current Pennsylvania RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in a nursing specialty.
