Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit is responsible for assessing human responses and planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individuals or families. This role requires leadership in a professional practice setting, promoting a safe environment, and participating in department-specific quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to continuous lifelong learning, patient safety, and compassionate communication.
Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting
• Participates in department-specific quality initiatives
• Promotes patient safety initiatives and participates in systematic peer review
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, evaluate, and implement a patient plan of care
• Derives culturally and age-appropriate expected outcomes involving the patient, family, and other healthcare providers
Qualifications:
• Completed RN training program and have PA RN licensure or have applied for practice permit
• CPR Certification
• Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
