Job Posting: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to students in grades 3-5 across two locations. You will have your own office in each location, allowing you to create a conducive environment for therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring and documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure in Virginia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades 3-5.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple locations.
