Job Title: Consult Liaison Psychiatrist

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to lead our 18-bed inpatient Psychiatry unit at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. As a Consult Liaison Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing direct and consulting care to in-patients and/or out-patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and reviewing clinical staff performance to ensure quality of care and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and consulting care to in-patients and/or out-patients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
  • Review clinical staff performance to ensure quality of care and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain clinical activity by full participation in departmental clinical workload.
  • Participate in medical staff leadership activities.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in psychiatry, with a completion of an accredited medicine residency program and psychiatry program, and board certification in psychiatry medicine. You will also need to be licensed to practice medicine in the state of CT.
