Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at The FootBridge Companies. As a key member of our production operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of lathe and mill-turn equipment and maintaining machining processes in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Production Process: Ensure that production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that products meet customer quality requirements, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure the integrity of inspection results and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean material flow opportunities to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Assist with the training of new team members and operators, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and organized.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to company safety requirements and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Compliance with Procedures: Ensure that all assigned activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of related experience in department processes preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills, ability to execute manufacturing plans effectively, CNC machine process technology skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, strong math skills, and proficiency with MS Office and the internet.
  • Physical Demands: Light to moderate physical exertion required, lifting/carrying maximum 50 lbs, regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility.
