Position Summary:

This role will provide support to the Vice President and General Manager of the mountain, as well as assistance to other members of the resort's Senior Leadership team. If you are organized, understand guest service, and seek a position within a passionate community of coworkers, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

Position Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $32.12 per hour.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round.
  • Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a solid understanding of and proficiency in computer software (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheets) to manage tasks related to word processing, accounting data, project timelines, and other applications as required to assist the General Manager.
  • Oversee multiple calendars, scheduling, and facility reservations.
  • Manage all scheduling, travel arrangements, and expenses for the General Manager.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to coordinate communication regarding upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive-level communications and demonstrate sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Support resort training initiatives, communication strategies, and management outreach.
  • Manage budgetary considerations related to the General Manager.
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials, permits, contracts, and other reports or communications.
  • Perform routine office tasks, including managing a multi-line phone system, mail, electronic correspondence, coordinating calendars and appointments, travel arrangements, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments with varying and time-sensitive deadlines. Assist with event planning and coordination as needed.
  • Act as the primary originator of Mountain Money.
  • Oversee site purchasing, inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Engage in extensive guest and community relations duties, including telephone interactions and correspondence preparation.
  • Maintain company calendars and schedules (including Manager's days off, MOD schedules, budget calendar, contact information, radio call numbers, organizational charts, etc.).
  • Exhibit flexibility and the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities with accuracy, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate willingness and capability to support all front-line operations during peak periods as needed.
  • Manage and maintain office equipment, scheduled maintenance, and related service contracts. Ensure the security and maintenance of all specialized office equipment.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned periodically.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of prior administrative experience in an executive-level role.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and computer software systems to effectively complete assigned tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and foresight.
  • Ability to support the Leadership team effectively.

The expected pay range is $32.12. This reflects the range we reasonably anticipate for this position. Individual compensation decisions are influenced by various factors.
