Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Secretary of State is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. This role involves working on various projects, including candidate statements, voter information guides, and initiative and referendum programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the submission and review of candidate statements for state-level elections
  • Assist in the preparation and mailing of voter information guides
  • Provide backup support for state initiatives and referenda
  • Process and review submissions for new political party qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar and spelling
  • Ability to apply current laws, regulations, and policies effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
