Job Title: Paramedic - Emergency Medical Health Services - Full Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at AmeriPro Health. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency and non-emergency environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in accordance with company policies and medical director protocols
  • Check and maintain all ambulance equipment and vehicles to ensure they are clean and in proper working condition
  • Prepare and complete reports, including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs
  • Ensure adherence to AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards
  • Self-motivated and requires little supervision and direction

Requirements:

  • State-specific Emergency Medical Technician certification/licensure in good standing/current NREMT certification if applicable by state law
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English
  • Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services
  • Ability to read and interpret local maps
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions regarding patient care, AmeriPro EMS operations, and other customer service issues
