Tennessee Survey Department Manager Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead our survey department in a growing engineering and land surveying firm in the Nashville, TN area.
About the CompanyOur client is a well-established company with a strong and consistent client base, evenly balanced between private and public projects. They have a full staff of properly trained field surveyors and office drafters to support the management team.
Compensation Package- $95,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated salary)
- Straight time overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 hours
- Company paid health, dental, vision insurance
- Hybrid remote work flexibility
The successful candidate will manage the entire surveying department, leading the survey team on a wide variety of projects in the public and private sector. They will provide survey services to clients and the engineering department, build the survey department in size and capability, and make strategic decisions pertaining to hiring, business development, and marketing.
Qualifications- Active Tennessee Professional Land Surveying License
- Experience in both private and public sectors
- Ideal experience with Business Development and Marketing
- Experience with topographic surveys, construction staking, mapping, entitlement surveys, boundary and ALTA surveys, plat and legal descriptions, and right of way engineering
