Academic Educator Position

Job Summary
The Tennessee Board of Regents seeks an experienced educator to deliver quality instruction in an equitable environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses assigned by the department, utilizing the College's learning management system to provide course materials, and ensuring timely submission of grades.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses via on-ground, online, and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned.
- Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
- Utilize the College's learning management system to provide course materials to students.
- Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
- Regularly check College email account and respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
- Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines.
- Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Master's degree in Education, three years of experience, and be certified as a teacher. Additionally, they should have knowledge of and/or experience with various instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is also preferred.
Compensation
