Position: Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide essential homecare services. The role involves delivering personal care and support tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with laundry and household tasks as required.
  • Provide reminders for medication schedules.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
  • Report any significant changes in the patient's health status to the supervising nurse.
  • Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, including temperature.
  • Support patients with mobility and ambulation.
  • Facilitate simple exercises and range of motion activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
  • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities, such as reading or writing letters.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
  • Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in a caregiving role.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and document care effectively.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Must meet training standards as per State and Federal regulations. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are eligible for this position, adhering to the same job functions.
