As a Patient Care Technician, you'll play a vital role in our community, working closely with our Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide top-notch care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Presenting medication to residents and observing ingestion or administering medication using established procedures.
  • Taking vital signs or observing residents to detect responses to medication, reporting any reactions.
  • Restocking medication inventories.
  • Providing direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and emergency situations, and taking corrective action as needed.
