Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Laborer, your duties will encompass a range of activities including, but not limited to, operating diverse types of heavy machinery, including cranes and forklifts, as well as performing cleaning, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment. The role is primarily outdoors, exposing you to varying weather conditions. This position requires a vigilant individual with strong physical capabilities, including good eyesight, hearing, and balance. Crane operators must adhere to the physical standards set forth by relevant safety regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and grasping.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, and using hand tools.
- Comprehensive vision abilities are essential - including acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
- Effective communication skills are crucial for coordinating with colleagues regarding safety and operational issues.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions, which may include exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust from construction activities.
Candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in equipment operation, demonstrating consistent performance, will be given preference.
