About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Landmark of Danville.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide personalized care to our residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing support with medication administration and vital sign monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide support with medication administration and vital sign monitoring
- Help residents with mobility, including transfers, lifts, and positioning
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
Requirements:
- Must possess a GED and Certified Nursing Assistant Course (120 hours)
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state
- Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate effectively in English
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
