We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Supervisor to join our team at Foundation Health Partners. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our respiratory care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the respiratory care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement departmental programs, policies, and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff performance.
- Collaborate with the department manager to resolve staff concerns and address departmental issues.
- Monitor the quality of respiratory therapy services provided to patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Perform chart audits and assist the department with charge capture.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of respiratory care, typically obtained through an associate's degree in respiratory therapy.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment as typically obtained through 2 years of clinical experience.
- Proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required.
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience or one year of progressive leadership experience is preferred.
