Job RolePart-Time Security Officer Position
Compensation: $21.80 per hour, paid weekly
Weekend availability is required
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Officer plays a crucial role in implementing security best practices to monitor, assess, and respond to incidents that may affect operations, facilities, and personnel. This position involves overseeing multiple security systems to ensure a coordinated response to safety and security events. The GSOC Officer is also responsible for delivering timely and accurate reports to Security Management regarding all life safety occurrences and providing guidance to business clients during both emergency and non-emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor physical security systems globally to ensure the safety of all personnel and facilities.
- Manage access control to company locations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee the CCTV system and handle requests for video footage.
- Respond to alarms and incidents, coordinating with emergency personnel as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between clients, departments, and leadership during emergencies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises and report any utility or service issues.
- Implement and manage the Anti-tailgating program.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication.
- Evaluate and suggest improvements to safety and security protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing requirements may apply based on local laws.
- Experience in analytical thinking and report preparation.
- Proficient in advanced computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills with IT and security professionals.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage crisis situations effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- College degree or current enrollment in a program focused on Criminal Justice or a related field.
