Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Lancaster General Health. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Pulmonary Medicine department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage payroll and scheduling responsibilities for staff.
  • Act as a technical resource for staff and provide guidance on respiratory care practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program with a minimum of an A.S./A.A.S.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Five (5) years of experience in respiratory care, including critical care.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
