Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the Trauma ICU. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care, ensuring it aligns with established policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality patient care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve staff performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure within 60 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation or Trauma Nursing Core Course certification within 1 year of employment start date.
