**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. As a RN ICU Trauma, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
* Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care and meet established quality and safety standards.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
**Requirements**
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
* BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
* Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
* Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
