Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced PCU. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, patient advocacy, and excellent patient care
Requirements:
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification strongly preferred
