Job Summary

Holland Pump Company is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pump team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Inspection and Repair: Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipment, including diesel engines and pumps.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair Perkins, John Deere, Mitsubishi, Duetz, Cummins, Yanmar, and Kubota diesel engines.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance work, such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements, and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, explaining repair needs and processes to clients.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and formal mechanic training from a trade school or other accredited institution.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams, and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Familiarity with all safety protocols and procedures, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
